Winning strategies
Title: Give the entry a title that explains exactly what the project is all about.
Objectives: Outline the objectives of the promotion, event or service e.g. was it designed to increase sales, overcome local opposition or to overcome existing problems.
Plan: Outline the plan you set in place. This would include the objectives you wished to achieve, how budgets were set and any difficulties that had to be overcome in implementing the plan. Include challenges, strategies, and advertising and promotion details if applicable.
Method: Explain how the plan was put into account i.e. how you went about it and what actually happened during the promotion or special event.
Results: What was the outcome? Did you achieve your objective? Did you keep to budget? What were the benefits versus the costs?
Note: Results carry weight with the judges. Give as much detail as possible.
Short Summary: In two or three sentences, summarise the overall event including what went right and what went wrong. Don’t be afraid to document what you can improve on next time and where things fell short of the expected outcome. This summary shows your ability to assess the overall promotion or event in a professional way.
